		<description>Thanks Jack - I think the area of how companies' technology/usability design decisions affect consumers' perception of brands could become even more important in the future, though maybe it will be more noticeable when it's negative, since good design is so often 'invisible'. 

For example, I notice Audi hasn't repeated the &lt;a href="http://architectures.danlockton.co.uk/?page_id=6#Audi-A2"&gt;'user cannot open the bonnet' policy of the A2 &lt;/a&gt; on the larger cars; perhaps buyers of a prestige vehicle &lt;em&gt;like&lt;/em&gt; to be able to look under the bonnet (hood) of what they've bought, even if just to reassure them that they've made the 'right' decision in buying into the brand's values of technical excellence.</description>
