Way back when I had young children, I had a peninsula type kitchen counter which became cluttered instantly. So... once a week I put a large clothes basket at the end and pushed everything into it AND carried the basket to the basement or to a far closet when I didn't have a basement. This helped to encourage people not to put things on the counter if they didn't want to have to make an effort to find it!!!! I like all your creative solutions. I still have the cluttered table problem now myself!

I designed a toy box that acted similarly to the infiltro table that ended up placing third in the JPMA Student Design Competition in 2006. Check it out --> http://www.coroflot.com/public/individual_set.asp?from_url=true&individual_id=98313&set_id=94061&sort_by=1&

Nice concepts!
