    Paper examining existing and future technology options for motor vehicles in developing countries, including discussion of Africar, Anadol, Izogu, FIAT Palio, WorldStar and Institute for Afffordable Transportation, along with comparison of fuels and construction methods.   • Wheelchair Drive Development (PDF link)
    Major Project Report submittted as part of my BSc(Hons) Industrial Design Engineering, Brunel University, May 2004, detailing the design and development of a wheelchair drive system.

The first detailed history and analysis of the Reliant company, looking at its development from insecure beginnings in the 1930s to the years of dynamic growth in the 60s & 70s when Reliant 3- & 4-wheelers dominated the specialist car market, in both sports and economy sectors. Reliant’s pioneering work in setting up the Israeli, Greek & Turkish motor industries is also covered. Bookmarque Publishing, Minster Lovell, June 2003.

  • The early years of Reliant (link)
    Early history of the Reliant company, from the early 1930s to the end of the girder-fork vans in the mid-1950s. This is an abridged version, written in March 2006, of Chapter 1 of Rebel Without Applause.

    ISBN 190231641X. I co-edited and helped compile this full-colour directory of 130 graduating design students and their work, to accompany the Good Thinking show [PDF]. Copies of the directory were widely distributed within the design industry and academia. Brunel University, Runnymede, June 2004.

    Contributor to article published in Gown, the University of Cambridge graduate magazine, looking at American students in Cambridge and how they perceive others perceive them, in the wake of the Iraq war. Lent 2005.
